At Cradle 2 Crayons, Inc. in Foley, AL, every child matters! In our K-2 preschool classroom, we derive our monthly themes, concepts, and related activities from the Toddler Bites curriculum. Our K-3 and K-4 preschool classrooms learn from Starfall. We develop lesson plans for each classroom based on the needs discovered though our students' assessments. We choose activities that encourage individual skills development. Daily schedules will vary by age group. Each classroom will have a daily schedule posted in the room. We assign children to classrooms based on their ages and the Alabama childcare regulations. Cradle 2 Crayons always follows the state guidelines for child to staff ratios. Most age groups will nap between 12-2 pm. There is no set schedule for infants on napping. Parents of every child of walking age and up will be required to provide a cloth nap mat. Cradle 2 Crayons will charge an annual supply fee in August for educational supplies. Parents are responsible for maintaining adequate personal care supplies for us to care for your child. Informal parent/teacher conferences are available at any time. Parents are encouraged to attend all conference requests. Failure to attend a requested conference may result in dismissal from the program.
We will be happy to help your child celebrate his or her birthday or special holiday so long as the parent provides all necessary supplies. Any parties held will be at 2:00 p.m., during snack time.

Graduation is not mandatory, but you are required to notify the office if your child will not be participating in the program. Those children with behavioral problems may not be allowed to participate without parental assistance.

Tuition is $130.00/week, MUST be potty trained (plus $50.00 registration fee). **Tuition includes breakfast, lunch and an afternoon Snack. All meals are approved and maintained by the USDA Food Program** Cradle 2 Crayons offers children a morning breakfast at approximately 8:00 a.m., a half-hour lunch at approximately 11:00 a.m., and an afternoon snack at approximately 2:00 p.m. Meals will include water, fruit juice and/or milk. List of all meals and snacks will be posted by the kitchen on a bi-weekly basis. All meals are family style, with the children sitting at tables, to promote good manners, eating habits, and socialization skills. Pre-K4 classes will serve themselves. Staff will encourage children to eat their main entree first, followed by healthy snacks.
SIX WEEKS TO THREE YEARS
6 Weeks - 12 Months
Tuition is $150.00/week (plus $50.00 registration fee)Parents will need to supply diapers/wipes and formula and any baby food. All infants are on their own feeding and sleeping schedule provided by the parents. At this stage, we assist the babies with activities that help them learn and develop language, sensory, and motor skills. We give them tummy time and free play floor time. We do take the babies outside on occasions as well. Each child is on an individualized lesson plan. Developmental milestones are assessed daily for growth and development.
12 Months - 24 Months
Tuition is $150.00/week (plus $50.00 registration fee)**Tuition includes breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack. Before and After School Care
We offer quality before and after-school care to grade school aged children. Whether you need to head into work early or work late, we'll keep your children safe and provide them with enrichment activities. The rate for before or after care is $42.00 per week, where if both are needed it is $70.00 per week, plus $50.00 registration fee.
